Postpartum Doula Services

The days, weeks, and months after a new baby’s arrival are joyous, confusing, and exhausting. They can also be easier. I’ll be by your side to support your rest, nourishment, and confidence in parenthood. I’ve supported families through adjusting their newborn’s latch for less painful nursing, communicating boundaries and expectations to grandparents, finding their comfort with babywearing, finding the right bedroom set-up for their family, and more – on top of providing referrals to local affirming providers and answering questions about everything from nursing positions to car seat comfort to introducing solids. Whatever you need, I am ready to provide responsive and empathetic care to support your growing family. You can expect:

  • Research-supported advice for all of your postpartum questions, from feeding to sleep

  • Feeding support for chestfeeding, breastfeeding, and bottle-feeding

  • Assessment, referrals, & practical resources for your home and family

  • Light housekeeping, laundry, & pump cleaning *

  • Newborn & sibling care while parents rest or reconnect*

  • Pet care and adjustment support *

  • Reassurance and support for your family and your community: birthing parent, partner(s), children, and visitors

  • Support advocating for your needs and preferences with loved ones and visitors

  • Practical tips on baby care and sibling adjustment with strategies tailored to your family’s unique composition and needs

  • Healthy meal prep, freezer stashing, and meal planning based on your preferences, diet, and needs *

In-Person & Virtual Support Packages

I offer in-person, blended, and fully-virtual support packages for families seeking education, support, and reassurance in the weeks after their baby’s arrival.

  • All packages include a fifteen-minute introductory call + a one-hour prenatal planning session.

  • The standard length of an in-person session is three hours. The standard length of a virtual session is one hour.

  • Typical packages are included below. If your needs are outside of the scope of these packages, please contact me so we can customize a package based on your family’s needs.

New Baby Special (First Week Support - In-Person)

Daily three-hour visits for your newborn’s first week (21 hours of support total). Allow me to help your family transition home from the hospital or birth center, support you as your partner(s) return to work, and provide nourishment as your body heals from birth. This package can be purchased alone or added to any package below.

Package One - In-Person

Three in-person sessions per week for three months (108 hours of support).

Package Two - Hybrid

Two in-person sessions + one virtual session per week for three months (84 hours of support)

Package Three - Virtual

Three virtual sessions per week for three months (36 hours of support).

À la carte Hours

À la carte hours can be used to lengthen a visit by up to three hours, to book an additional in-person visit (minimum of three hours), or to add a remote session (minimum of one hour). These hours are available for current and alumni families.
